I am sorry that I didn't update anyone yesterday. I spent the morning on the phone with Childrens hospital of OC (CHOC), speaking with Dr. Nugent regarding Myles' blood clots in his calf. It is very difficult to get Dr's from different states to communicate (political stuff). They finally came up with a plan to give buggies blood thinners in combination with his factor (scary combination). He has been running a temp. of around 104 for about three or four days with no other sign of infection (white blood counts are good) so they did another Cat Scan on him to see if there was anything going on. The results: he has a blood clot in his lungs (Pulmonary Thrombosis). This could possibly fatal if the thinners/factor combo does not work. Aaron and Tuyet arrived here last night because mom is kinda having a nervous breakdown. I think between the burn, blood poisoning, blood clots in his leg, my sister's suicide, my helplessness of Myles' pain, and now the clots in his lungs....I am truly having a hard time functioning anymore. Everyone thinks that I should go back to Idaho for a few days for a break but I can't even make it to my car to leave the hospital without turning around and coming back to my son's side. If anything would happen to bugs while I was away from him I could never forgive myself. Aaron will probably be updating this site for the time he is here.

Hang in there ! Your doing a great job,,,, and if not for your support and knowledge of things that the docs don't know seems to be keeping him on the up side. Hope they do figure this out and with not too much difficulty for he needs to have a break too !!! Myles dude keep on fighting this bud your gonna get the upper hand soon !! I wish I could do something for you. If it were me and not you, I know I too would not be leaving my child's side. Myles knows you are tired, but than again there is NOTHING more soothing then to see your mothers face smiling at you when one wakes up. You are doing so much for him in just being there. God will bless you both.

Have been having a hard time with this blog thing, but does not campare to what you are going thur. I need to to be as tuff as you can be, remember what you said. You want me and Deirdre out for your birthday. So do what the doctors ask of you and you will get thur all this bad stuff real soon. I talked to your dad yesterday and said you are getting tiered of all this and I know you are also, but hang tuff! There are tons of people praying for you. I know you can do.

It breaks my heart to know that you are going through this. What else could you possibly do but to feel as though you are having a nervous breakdown. No one knows what you are going through except you, so do what you feel is right. Stay by your son's side. I cannot begin to imagine the emotional pain you are going through. Today in good ole' VA is beautiful!
As you probably already know, I LOVE Christian music. Ever since I was a little girl my favorite music has been church music. There is always a message in the lyrics that you may not understand when reading the Bible. The song that came on the radio today is, yes, another one of my favorites, I Can Only Imagine, by Mercy Me. It talks about the glory to be surrounded by Jesus. How awesome that would be to be by his side.
Well; Myles, Sherry, and Aaron, Jesus is standing by your side. Just imagine and it will happen. Put your trust in the Lord and He will take care of you. YOU MUST TRUST HIM.

You are a cutie but sorry to say, "not my favorite" nephew. There happens to be another one that equally puts a sparkle in my eye. I love you both so very, very much. Life is indeed a journey and every day should remind us that God is in control and the end result is to trust Him.
