Doug from the Nampa fire department drove all the way to Salt Lake to make Myles an honorary fire man. Myles had a really hard day but did his best to thank and honor this man for coming so far to see him. There are walking angels in this world, we just need to see past the stuff that is usually shown. Aaron and Tuyet are here now and at the hospital with buggies so I think that I am going to take a needed "nap".
No one can make Myles smile soulfully as him seeing Aaron. I can sleep knowing that my sons are together. Love to all and a well deserved good night.

Myles,
You look tired! I can't even imagine. Stay strong! Keep that sparkle going. You've inspired others! Honest! I'm glad your mom is getting some rest now that Aaron is there. I'm glad you have someone to soothe you.
Here's my devotion for today,
Friday 3/2/07
Peace that Defies Pain:
We don't like to admit it, but pain is a fact of life. Sooner or later the 'p'work comes into everyone's path. And when it does how do you deal with it?
Do you let pain conquer your spirit, or do you stare it down, armed with a 'stubborn joy'?
Even in pain God is near. He wants you to grasp the peace that defies pain. He wants to be with you facing pain with His holy joy.
Only HE can show you the path to a defiant peace.
Myles . . . I pray for peace and comfort, and God's grace!
You are loved!

Psalms 34:17-19: "The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all." (KJV)
