Normalcy

Yesterday was an unbelivable day.... Myles playing with his friend..........Aaron and Tuyet on a raft enjoying the beauty of the lake that we live on and me in the kitchen, enjoying what I do, cooking. We propped up the trailer in our yard and played pictionary last night, Myles and Aaron are totally unbeatable. They seem to have this Volcan mind meld or something. Myles draws a line, and Aaron guesses the empire state building, and it's right, whatever..................I think they cheat!!! Sometimes it's hard to have a good day. It makes the reality of this seem non existent or gone. But it is not gone, just for moments, which we cherish. Wound care this morning was exceptionally hard with having such a good day yesterday. He has a few painful hemotoma's under his pressure gear. Aaron seems to be very solemn today. It's amazing how things can change in one day. We are blessed...........I used to say how amazing that things can change in ten minutes not days. We are doing better. I am scared for some crazy reason when things are good as it seems to make the rough times harder. But there is another day.

Words of Strength
Monday, April 30, 2007

“When you talk, do not say harmful things, but say what people need—words that will help others become stronger.” Ephesians 4:29

Before you speak, ask: Will what I’m about to say help others become stronger?

You have the ability, with your words, to make a person stronger. Your words are to their soul what a vitamin is to their body. If you had food and saw someone starving, would you not share it? If you had water and saw someone dying of thirst, would you not give it? Of course you would. Then won’t you do the same for their hearts? Your words are food and water!

Do not withhold encouragement from the discouraged.

Do not keep affirmation from the beaten down!

Speak words that make people stronger. Believe in them as God has believed in you.

Myles,

Sorry it's been a couple of days since i've written. I went to Kentucky to run in the Kentucky Derby mini-marathon. I had never been to Kentucky . . .it was awesome. Got to run a lap at "Church Hill Downs' That's where the actually derby is run! Went to the Louiville Slugger factory where they make 'all' the baseball bats, a science museum, crossed a beautiful bridge and entered the great state of Indiana, and went on a historical carriage ride in the evening and learned a great deal about the city as I was toured by a 33 year old horse named Joe. It was a great trip.

You're an encouragment to me Myles, when I wanted to quit running, I thought of you . . . therefore I didn't quit, I kept running.

I will continue to pray for comfort and God's healing grace for you. continue to enjoy your friends and family!

You're loved!

Myles,
I am glad that there are more times in your day that are a blessing to have than those that are painful. Soon those painful times will be none with Gods help. We still have you and your family in our daily prays to heal you of scars and your family for their heavy hearts.
I am blessed to know you.
Have a great week at school. :)

Love you all,
Aunt Celia, Uncle Dave, Brian and Marie
