Myles' finger is doing better. It continued to get worse for quite a while and our fear of the graft taking was increasing. Yesterday during wound care and bandage change it miraculously looked better, Hoorah! We will probably go back to Salt Lake next week. There seems to be a solemness in our family this past week. I think that the length of time and stress is really starting to show. It has been 7 months now since my sister's suicide and we have not had any reprieve since that time. I'm sure that the court issue, Myles recovery, and me being unable to work right now, has a dark cloud hanging over us. Things will get better (I seem to keep saying that a lot) but we are all tired. Come on 2008, it
has to be better than 2007!

Hello,
I am sorry I have not written for awhile. I was in Tenn., Marie was in the JR. Olympics for jump roping. She was awsome. She placed 3rd in Power ( the rope has to go around twice before she can put her feet down) 139 per minute. 5th is speed (126 per minute) and 7th in pairs for speed (124).
She had to complete against 48 other girls in her age group.
Now, for you guys. The pictures look great. You look awsome Myles. God is diffently with you on your healing. Continue to let God work on your wounds.
Hang in there Shery. We will not let God forget about you.
Love to all,
Cecelia
When it rains, it pours.
I feel the most terrible guilt for gaining from your pain, but the Ganley experience has been the most amazing pity-party-wake-up-call for me and I can't seem to pray for you or thank you enough.
Best wishes!! from SanDiego
He Did It for You

“All things are worth nothing compared with the greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.”
Philippians 3:8
Want to know the coolest thing about Christ’s coming?
Not that the One who hung the galaxies gave it up to hang doorjambs to the displeasure of a cranky client who wanted everything yesterday but couldn’t pay for anything until tomorrow.
Not that he refused to defend himself when blamed for every sin of every slut and sailor since Adam…
Not even that after three days in a dark hole he stepped into the Easter sunrise with a smile and a swagger and a question for lowly Lucifer—“Is that your best punch?”
That was cool, incredibly cool.
But want to know the coolest thing about the One who gave up the crown of heaven for a crown of thorns? He did it for you. Just for you.
Hey all! The pictures are GREAT! All of you look healthy and happy and filled with love. What more could anyone want.
Prayers and love continue,
Kate
God’s Bottomless Well

“If anyone believes in me, rivers of living water will flow out from that person’s heart.”
John 7:38
Don’t you need regular sips from God’s reservoir? I do. In countless situations—stressful meetings, dull days, long drives, demanding trips—and many times a day, I step to the underground spring of God. There I receive anew his work for my sin and death, the energy of his Spirit, his lordship, and his love.
Drink with me from his bottomless well. You don’t have to live with a dehydrated heart. Receive Christ’s work on the cross, the energy of his Spirit, his lordship over your life, his unending, unfailing love.
Drink deeply and often. And out of you will flow rivers of living water.
wow, what an awesome devotion. Don't you wish you could think like this everyday. that's why it's great to read them. hope all is well. Myles, hope you are continuing to mend, and hope you know that you are loved.
much love, and continued prayers,
