Idaho is So Beautiful

We had a pretty good rain yesterday which makes for a spectacular morning. Idaho is in full swing and looks like Ireland (I think because I have never been there). I watched the sunrise this morning to unveil the fields that had been so thirsty being very content. The smells of all of the different crops being grown around us are a symphony for the nose. All of the baby cows were running around and playing. I truly love the sunrises as it always seem to be "a fresh new day" with endless possibilities. Myles swung a golf club this weekend and says that he is starting to feel his groove again. He loves his new clubs that Uncle Ned/Ed gave to him and seems excited for the first time to play a round of golf or, at least, going to drive some balls. Tuyet got home from So Cal yesterday from being with her father. He is having some troubles (the infamous burn infection) but hopefully will respond to the antibiotics. With him having a very high temp they decided to not take any donor sites and used cadaver skin for now. She is going back down there next weekend but wanted to come home to be able to be with Aaron for court on Friday. Our reunion with her was very emotional as Myles, Aaron, and myself knew first hand at what she has been going through with her father. A few months back, we wouldn't of had a clue. When I asked her if her "knowing what was going to happen" was a good thing, she said not at first but it is now. I don't think that her dad enjoys the daily torture chamber (wound care) any more than Myles did. She told Myles last night that her father said to tell him that he is very brave. Will keep you all posted.................

Sherry,

Your update is beautiful. Sounds like Idaho is awesome. I could almost smell it. Please tell Tuyet we're all praying for her and her father.

Myles, I played golf this past week in a tournament at work. Captains choice. Oh my GOD, it was sooo much fun, but I hadn't swung a golf club in a long time. I carried a couple of the holes, but other wise it was a pity how bad I was. It was an outstanding day. Temps in the 80's no humidity, and blue blue skies. Good time, with new friends, so it was sweeeeeeeet. I'll keep practicing, maybe we can play one day!

Keep swinging the club! Hope the pain in your arms is improving!

Much love and continued prayers!

Hello to everyone,
I too love waking up in the morning and just seeing the sunrise and take in the clean air before I get started for the day. God does do a great job with his creations.
Talking about creations, Myles you too are an amazing young man. I told everyone how great you are doing. They will continue to pray for your recovering.
Aaron, Trust in the Lord. Everyone is praying for you as well.
Sherry, You have great boys. You too are blessed. Embrace them and know that God is with them.
Tuyet, we have all been praying that your father gets better and heals quickly.

We love you all,
Cecelia and family

Friday....hmmm. Well, I will just keep praying for grace.
Thank You for sharing about your mornings. I've never been a morning person, so is nice to hear about them.
The kids are out of school for summer at the end of this week. We intend to hit every beach between here and san diego this summer.
Thinking of all you..Myles, Aaron, Tuet, and of you sweet sherry.
Love,
Christine

He Doesn’t Remember

“I will remember their sins no more.”
Hebrews 8:12 RSV

I was thanking the Father today for his mercy. I began listing the sins he’s forgiven. One by one I thanked God for forgiving my stumbles and tumbles. My motives were pure and my heart was thankful, but my understanding of God was wrong. It was when I remember that it hit me.

“Remember the time I…” I was about thank God for another act of mercy. But I stopped. Something was wrong. The word remember seemed displaced… “Does he remember?”

Then I remembered. I remembered his words. “And I will remember their sins no more.”

Wow! Not, that is a remarkable promise.

God doesn’t just forgive, he forgets…For all the things he does do, this is one he refuses to do. He refuses to keep a list of my wrongs.

Hey!! Hope all is well with everyone. We've been enjoying some great RAIN!! Bring it on! I love summer rain, it even smells different. Dwayne and I are off the Jackson Hole Wyoming for a week. 25th wedding anniversary! Can' believe anyone has put up with me for so long! LoL.

Much love!
