The Birthday Pictures

I finally got all of the pictures posted on kodak gallery. I tried to make it so you didn't have to sign in but it didn't work out that way. It only takes a second and all you have to do is create your own account using your e-mail address and a password that you have chosen, it's free. Then we can all share our pictures there. As you can see from the pix, the day was filled with love and laughter. You can view the pix by clicking on the following.

Today, I fear, is going to be a solemn day for us. We have court in the morning (pretrial) and the anticipation and anxiety over seeing Myles burn in the video is weighing on our souls. We had a family meeting last night to talk over if buggies seeing the video will help his healing and closure. We decided to shield him from seeing it, he has reality but does not need a visual memory. As for Aaron and I, we will do what we have to do and keep in our minds and hearts that Myles is alive and is in the room with us. That's all that matters. I know that I don't need to ask as you all have been so wonderful with your prayers and well wishing but say a little prayer for our strength tommorow.
With love,
Sherry

“I am the LORD. There is no other God.”
Isaiah 45:18

Myles, Sherry and Aaron,

Thank you so much for the great photo's. Looks like a good time was had by all.

If those pictures didn't exist, the events would remain in your mins. Shielding Myles from those pictures, is a good thing, but I'm certain it is an event that he will never forget. Nor will Aaron. Aaron, hang in there, I will hold all of you in my heart tomorrow, as I have, my prayers will remain . . .

Much love,
K8

Our Servant Master
Monday, June 04, 2007

“The Son of Man did not come to be served. He came to serve others and to give His life a ransom for many people.”
Matthew 20:28

As a young boy, I read a Russian fable about a master and a servant who went on a journey to a city. Many of the details I’ve forgotten but the ending I remember. Before the two men could reach the destination they were caught in a blinding blizzard. They lost their direction and were unable to reach the city before nightfall.

The next morning concerned friends went searching for the two men. They finally found the master, frozen to death, face down in the snow. When they lifted him they found the servant—cold but alive. He survived and told how the master has voluntarily placed himself on top of the servant so the servant could live. I hadn’t thought of that story in years. But when I read what Christ said he would do for us, the story surfaced—for Jesus is the master who died for the servants.

Sherry,

This story reminds me of you . . .protecting your boys, You'll all be in my prayers today! Hope all goes well,

Much love,
K8

Aaron,
Remember God is with you. We will be asking God today to please protect you and to let you know that you are loved and never forgotten.

Sherry,
You all have been the first thing I think about when I wake and the last thing before I sleep, along with during the day. We will all pray that Aaron has suffered enough.

Myles,
Do what you think is right with yourself. We are with you in our prayers and if you need anything you just call.

Love you all
Cecelia

Thank you for sharing those wonderful pictures of Myles' party. He sure looks like he was having a great time. It was fun for me to see faces I haven't seen in many years.
Love and prayers,
Kathy
