Autumn is so beautiful. It's a time for mother nature to make drastic changes in everything (except in So Cal, smile). We have all been so busy up here with our changes lately. Aaron and Tuyet are in their new place, Myles is back in school, winterizing the farm and pastures, putting the garden to bed. Auntie Mona came up to see us for a while and it was wonderful and heart warming. She hadn't seen Myles since Feb in Salt Lake City when she came there to be my rock, as she always is. It's amazing to think that she was by my side, actually in the room, when both my sons were born. She has been my best friend, sister, mother, and guardian angel for almost thirty years now. I truly hope that everyone has a "Mona" in their lives.
Myles is doing good with his grafts and playing a lot of basketball. You can really tell that the graphs are maturing and softening up. He is growing quite a bit right now and turning more handsome every day (and boy do the girls notice). Gotta love thirteen. Aaron's ordeal has been postponed until Jan 08 because of lawyer changes. We were hoping that this would be over sooner but it is what it is. I am trying to accept the silence of the day and enjoy the short but beautiful gift of Autumn.

So good to hear from you all again, and glad to hear that Myles is healing well. I'm sorry Aaron will have to wait until Jan 8th, but you know that is Jenna's birthday, which has always been a good day in my book. The picture is beautiful. I am a bit envious as we don't have autumn here, and it's still in the 90's right now. Sending good thoughts, love and prayers your way, always.

Hello all in Idaho,
Oh how I love Autumn. I think it is more beautiful than spring. I love the smell and the crispness in the air. Which also brings Football. Brian is playing on 2 football teams. He had a game yesterday for the Middle School. He is the 2nd smallest on the team. He played the entire 1st quarter. They tied 6 to 6.
Marie is busy with her jump roping. They have done 3 demo's thus far and is loving it. Therefore, you can tell we are very busy, every night there is something going on.
Last weekend we went camping and hiking. What a great time to spend quality time with the family. No TVs, radios, or neighbors. Just the family.
We will continue to pray for Aaron.
Myles, I knew the girls would be all over you. You are a Ganley. Good looks run in the family. I am glad that you are playing sports. That is very good for your healing.
May God continue to bless your body and heal ALL you wounds.
We love you all,
Cecelia

“Those who believe in the Son have eternal life.”
John 3:36
Computerized Christianity. Push the right buttons, enter the right code, insert the correct data, and bingo, print out your own salvation.
You do your part and the Divine Computer does his. No need to pray (after all, you control the keyboard). No emotional attachment necessary (who wants to hug circuits?). And worship? Well, worship is a lab exercise—insert the rituals and see the results.
Religion by computer. That’s what happens when…
You replace the living God with a cold system;
You replace inestimable love with pro-forma budget;
You replace the ultimate sacrifice of Christ with the puny achievements of man.
WOW Sherry, what a great picture. And beautiful words to go with it. I have pictures of Myles plasted all over my office. I had THREE doctors ask about Myles today. I will post your blog message next to the cute picture of Myles drinking a shake with a 'gummy' worm sticking out of it. I'm praising God, that Myles is doing well, but please know that we continue to hold Aaron close in our hearts and prayers. I hope he too feels them. Much love to all, and to YOU.

Take Risks for God
Monday, October 15, 2007
“Well done good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things.”
Matthew 25:21 NKJV
Use you uniqueness to take great risks for God!
If you’re great with kids, volunteer at the orphanage.
If you have a head for business, start a soup kitchen.
If God bent you toward medicine, dedicate a day or a decade to AIDS patients.
The only mistake is not to risk making one…
He lavished you with strengths in this life and a promise of the next. Go out on a limb; he won’t let you fall. Take a big risk; he won’t let you fail. He invites you to dream of the day you feel his hand on your shoulder and his eyes on your face. “Well done,” he will say, “good and faithful servant.”
Great advise for everyone. hope all is well. We are finally enjoying some great fall weather. I love it. Running last night was a treat! I could smell the beautiful orange leaves, and as I ran, and the road dipped down, the coolness hit me! LOVE IT>
Much love, and continued prayers for all.

Absurdities and Ironies
Tuesday, October 16, 2007
“Father, into your hands I commit My spirit.”
Luke 23:46 NKJV
As Christ gave his final breath, the earth gave a sudden stir. A rock rolled, and a soldier stumbled. Then, as suddenly as the silence was broken, the silence returned. And now all is quiet. The mocking has ceased. There is no one to mock.
The soldiers are busy with the business of cleaning up the dead. Two men have come. Dressed well and meaning well, they are given the body of Jesus.
And we are left with the relics of his death. Three nails in a bin. Three cross-shaped shadows. A braided crown with scarlet tips.
Bizarre, isn’t it? The thought that this blood is not man’s blood but God’s?
Crazy, isn’t it? To think that these nails held your sins to a cross?…
Absurdities and ironies. The hill of Calvary is nothing if not both.
I love that picture you have posted on the blog. I have printed it. I enjoy looking at the Rainbow, God's gift to us . .. .when the rains had stopped, and the flood waters dried up. It's hope . ..
LOVE IT!!

Room for Miracles
Thursday, October 18, 2007
“I will not believe it until I see the nail marks in his hands and…put my hand into his side.”
John 20:25
In our world of budgets, long-range planning and computers, don’t we find it hard to trust in the unbelievable? Don’t most of us tend to scrutinize life behind furrowed brows and walk with cautious steps? It’s hard for us to imagine that God can surprise us. To make a little room for miracles today, well, it’s not sound thinking.
We make the same mistake that Thomas made: we forget that “impossible” is one of God’s favorite words.
How about you? How is your imagination these days? When was the last time you let some of your dreams elbow out your logic? When was the last time you imagined the unimaginable?… Has it been awhile since you claimed God’s promise to do “more than we can ask or imagine?” (Eph. 3:20)
I was soooooo busy yesteday, didn't send a message! BUT, you're thought of daily. Much love and continued prayers to ALL!

I'm very glad to hear that Myles is doing so well. Of course the girls are noticing how gorgeous he is, he has good genes. And not only that, but he's just THE coolest kid on the planet. I really hope that he will meet Amara soon, because I know she would absolutely love and adore him.
As for Aaron, I love you and miss you very much. I'm so glad that they postponed the trial untill the holidays are over. Hopefully, with the holiday spirit still in the air, they will realized the importance of family and that accidents happen. And, of course, that day has always been lucky for me :D
I love and miss you all very much and I hope to talk to you soon. It's getting "chilly" here as "fall" aproaches, but I'm sure you are dressing with many more layers than we are. Take care!
